About the Speaker:
In 2014, Vanessa Smith created a community called Mamas Helping Mamas, based on free service and gratitude, mom to mom. Now with 2700 members in the Portland area, MHM has strengthened our community and created a new kind of connection among families through service to each other. Part of the beauty is that it's not needs based. Focusing on serving each other, regardless of why someone may want or need it, transcends typical divisions of class, culture, politics, or religion. It's just help! We all feel better for having helped others and we all could use a helping hand. Through this work, her goal is to bring the village to life. Every day in Mamas Helping Mamas, we see that happen.
On-street parking is free on Sunday until 1 pm. Pre-pay available at most parking locations.
