Volunteer at the Oregon Food Bank in Portland

Here is a chance to HELP OFTEN by working a shift at the Oregon Food Bank in Portland. 16% of Oregon families are food insecure so your efforts will NOT go to waste. Food from OFB is distributed to food banks all over Oregon and given to people on an emergency basis - thousands of meals each year. Work at OFB is fast paced, a bit strenuous, you need to dress in "close-toed" shoes and, if we are in the cold repack room, bring a hoodie or sweater. All are welcome ages 6-85.

To secure a spot with you MUST click on this link: https://ofbvolunteers.civicore.com/index.php?section=newIndvGroup&action=conditional_loggedIn&fwID=24377 . You'll need to log in (or create an account) to be added to our group, but it only takes a minute! Our group loses its hold on the spaces 3 days before the shift and spaces will open on a first come, first served basis to ensure all spaces are filled.

Sunday Assembly Volunteers have contributed over 200 hours of volunteer time this year!
