Donations for Operation Reugee Child Needed July 10th

Thank you to all who donated items and cash at the June 12th Assembly!

The Syrian war began in 2011 and has disproportionately affected children. 7.6 million Syrian children have been affected by war with 2 million as refugees and millions of others displaced. Many of these children make their way to refugee camps in Turkey and Greece. Operation Refugee Child helps these children and other refugees directly by presenting them with backpacks filled with helpful items to ease their daily lives in the refugee camps.

Please bring donations to the July 10th Sunday Assembly. Sunday Assembly Volunteers will be collecting items to fill Hope Boxes to send to Operation Refugee Child. Items to contribute include new and unopened personal care items, first aid kits, sun screen, small new toys such as match box cars, stickers and sticker activity books, crayons and drawing pads, yo-yos.... The list goes on so please look at the attached information. Following the July 10th SA, volunteers will assemble the items at a Packing Picnic and send them on to ORC.

Contact Robin Beck at or Ann Moses at for more information.
