About the Speaker:
Sándor Lau has seen wealth and poverty from many sides. He grew up with his family living in a one-bedroom mobile home. National Merit and Fulbright scholarships allowed him to attend university and graduate school studying in five countries. As a filmmaker and television journalist, he learned that making award-winning documentaries is a great way to go broke.
To start his investment company, he spent hundreds of nights sleeping on the office floor so he could rent out his entire house to Airbnb guests and pay the mortgage. Now, he manages a successful real estate loan fund with properties in more than a dozen states. His first financial book, Intoxicating Assets, arrives in 2016.
On-street parking is free on Sunday until 1 pm. Pre-pay available at most parking locations.
